There's a Lighthouse on a hillside
And it overlooks life's sea
And when I'm tossed don't you know 
It sends out a Light
A Light that I might see
And The Light that shines in darkness now 
Someday will safely lead me home
I know if it wasn't for that old Lighthouse

Everybody that lives around us
Well they all say tear it down
